Pete Daffern, Chairman

Pete Daffern holds the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Purisma and directs the company's strategy and operations. Prior to Purisma, Pete was most recently President and Chief Operating Officer of AIM Technology. Before AIM, Pete served as vice president, Worldwide Alliances and Business Development of Vitria Technology, a leading BPM and EAI company. He also spent more than 10 years at Seagate Software, supplier of business intelligence (BI) software products, where he held numerous management and sales positions including General Manager EMEA.

Pete holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Sheffield University.

Bob Hagenau

Bob was a founding member of Acta Technology, a leader in data integration, which was acquired by Business Objects in August of 2002 for $65 Million. Bob served as the VP of Product Management and Product Marketing and lead the creation of two successful product lines and 16 core products in a highly competitive, rapidly changing market. He has held several senior product management and software engineering positions at Advent Software, Apple Computer, and IBM. Bob holds an MBA from Stanford University and a Bachelors of Science in Computer Science with highest honors from UC Davis.

Rod McGeary

Rod's career spans 32 years of managing global enterprises, ranging from start-ups to multi-billion dollar enterprises. Most recently McGeary was co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Brience, Inc., a mobile software company. Prior to joining Brience in 2000, McGeary served as Co-Chief Executive Officer and Co-President of KPMG Consulting Inc., now BearingPoint, Inc.

During his tenure at KPMG Consulting, McGeary helped build the business from $500 million to $2.5 billion in revenue and was responsible for launching strategic relationships with Qwest, Cisco and Microsoft. From 1996 to 1998 McGeary was employed by KMPG LLP as Vice Chairman of Consulting. Prior to 1996, Mr. McGeary served in several capacities with KPMG LLP including audit partner for technology clients.

McGeary is also serves on the board of directors for Cisco Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: CSCO) a worldwide leader in networking for the Internet, BearingPoint, Inc.( NYSE:BE) one of the world's largest business consulting and systems integration firms, DigitalThink, Inc. (NASDAQ: DTHK) , an e-learning company, and GRIC Communications, Inc. (NASDAQ: GRIC), a provider of Internet-based mobile office communications solutions.

Chris McKay

Chris joined Granite Ventures in September 1998 from Hambrecht & Quist, where he was an analyst in the firm's Venture Capital department. Chris focuses on software investments.

Chris serves on the Board of Directors for Arcot Systems, Managing Editor Software and Purisma. He is a Board observer for Actional, Convio, and Sendmail, and was previously involved with the Boards of Connected (acquired by Iron Mountain) and Cardiff (acquired by Verity).

Chris holds a B.A. from the University of Virginia.

Colin Savage

Colin has more than 17 years of operational and venture investment experience. A General Partner at Worldview Technology Partners, Colin focuses on investments associated with data center infrastructure and enterprise applications. Colin joined Worldview from Norwest Venture Partners, where he worked closely with several high-profile startup companies including Octane Software (acquired by E.Piphany), SeeBeyond (Nasdaq: SBYN), Acta Technologies (acquired by Business Objects), Annuncio Software (acquired by Peoplesoft), eForce and Ventaso.

Prior to Norwest, Colin was a Vice President with Oracle Corporation where he was responsible for strategy, business development, marketing and operations for the worldwide consumer sector vertical business unit. Previously, Colin worked for Booz-Allen & Hamilton as a management consultant. Prior to attending business school, Colin worked for several years as a sales representative and systems engineer within IBM.

Colin holds a M.B.A. from Stanford University and a B.S. degree in Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley. Colin currently sits on the Boards of Directors of Purisma, Azul, Reactrix, nSite, Onstor, and Butterfly.net.
